Product description

Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions manages the cold water supply and wastewater disposal systems on the terms of concession in Lesnoy (the Sverdlovsk Region), Glazov (the Republic of Udmurtia), and Obninsk (the Kaluga Region). The total investments in the improvement of the systems reliability are nearby 9 bn rubles. RIS implements the software complex Digital Water Utilities in all of its facilities that considerably improves the performance of enterprises and reliability of water supply.


Scope of works within the concession project in Glazov


Water supply:

  • construction of the second string of Syanino water duct;

  •  construction of a water supply system from water pumping plant No. 9 to the micro-district Yugo-Zapadny;

  •  designing and construction of water supply networks in the micro-districts Syga, Yuzhny;

  •  reconstruction of the boiler house and heat supply system of the service and drinking water preparation site;

  •  construction of networks for supply of water from the surface water source to the district of the third-stage pumping station to be blended with water from the underground source;

  •  construction of water supply networks to loop the water supply system in the village Shtanigurt.


Wastewater disposal:

  • reconstruction of automated grids at wastewater pumping stations;

  •  construction of sewage networks of the micro-district Yugo-Zapadny;

  •  reconstruction of the sewage networks of pressure collector No. 5;

  •  construction of the second pressure collector of Wastewater Pumping Station No. 13;

  •  construction of the third phase of purification structures;

  •  construction of a preliminary settling tank with networks and installation of mechanical cleaning equipment;

  •  construction of a sludge consolidation tank with networks and installation of equipment;

  •  reconstruction of air tanks under the scheme of nitrification and denitrification, and replacement of air blowing equipment;

  •  construction of a site for placement of excess sludge and implementation of the composting technology;

  •  reconstruction of the sludge dewatering equipment;

  •  automation and dispatching of processes.


Main works in Lesnoy

  • replacement of worn-out pipelines by modern ones made of corrosion-resistant materials;

  •  installation of modern energy-efficient pumps, frequency controllers, electric drives, lock valves, system of pipeline water pressure control;

  •  creation of a digital component base of the dispatching center, electricity commercial metering automated system of the water supply system of Lesnoy, as well as an automatic control system at the site of the integrated water intake structure, automated workplace with replacement of enclosure and switchgear equipment;

  •  establishment of a sodium hypochlorite manufacturing site inside the enterprise;

  •  reconstruction of air tanks under the scheme of nitrification and denitrification, and replacement of air blowing equipment;

  •  transfer of laboratory tests to modern methods, including with the use of the capillary electrophoresis system.
